Manufacturing
The order that grows the company is also the order that drains it — materials, overtime, and setup all land before the first invoice does. Add a machine with a fourteen-week lead time and you're funding growth out of last quarter's cash. That's a timing problem, not a credit problem, and it's financeable.

What usually fits

Machine tools hold value, which makes them the cheapest money on the floor.
$10,000 – $2,000,000
Term Loan
A known ramp with a known cost budgets best against a fixed payment.
$25,000 – $1,000,000

If your books are clean, revolving money is the cheapest way to fund materials.
$50,000 – $1,000,000
What underwriters look at
- Customer concentration. One buyer at 60% of revenue is the first thing questioned.
- Whether the PO is firm or a forecast. A signed order changes the file entirely.
- Existing equipment liens — a UCC search happens before funding, so tell us first.
- Gross margin. A funder will do the arithmetic on whether the payment fits inside your margin.
Questions
- Can I finance against a purchase order?
- PO financing exists and is its own product with its own economics. If that's the right tool we'll say so instead of forcing an advance.
- How are machines valued?
- Make, age, hours, and secondary-market demand. Common iron finances better than specialty equipment.
- I already have equipment liens.
- Normal. Tell us upfront — a UCC search happens regardless and surprises kill files at the last minute.
- One customer is most of my revenue.
- It's a hurdle, not a wall. Contract length and payment history are what change the answer.

Three documents to start: the last four months of business bank statements, a driver's license, and a voided check. That's the whole file to get options back.
FundMainStreet.com is a financing arranger, not a lender or a bank. We connect business owners with third-party funding partners and are compensated by those partners when a transaction closes; we disclose that compensation to you before you sign. Approval, terms, and funding are determined solely by the funding partner. Merchant cash advances are purchases of future receivables, not loans.
