Restaurants & Food Service
Daily card deposits, thin margins, and equipment that fails at the worst possible time. Restaurants are one of the easiest industries to get an advance in and one of the easiest to get hurt in, because daily remittance against a 6% margin leaves very little room. We'll do that arithmetic with you before you sign anything.
What we fund here
- Walk-in, hood, or line equipment replacement
- $15K – $120K
- Buildout or remodel
- $50K – $500K
- Payroll through a slow month with a booked season
- $10K – $75K
- Second location fit-out
- $75K – $500K
Ranges are typical, not guaranteed. Your terms depend on your business and the funder.
What usually fits
What underwriters look at
- Average daily deposits and how many negative days appear in four months.
- Third-party delivery mix, because those deposits net out differently.
- Lease term remaining. A funder won't outlive your lease.
- Whether an existing advance is already taking a slice of daily deposits.
Questions
- Is a daily remittance survivable on my margin?
- Sometimes, and sometimes plainly not. That's the calculation we run with you before submitting, and it's the reason we occasionally tell people no.
- Can I fund a second location?
- Yes, and it usually underwrites off the first location's numbers plus the new lease.
- My walk-in died today.
- That's a same-week file. Call us — for a single piece of equipment, financing the asset is usually cheaper than an advance.
- I already have an advance.
- Then the honest conversation is about not stacking a second one on it. We may still have options; a second advance won't be one of them.
Let's see what your numbers support.
Three documents to start: the last four months of business bank statements, a driver's license, and a voided check. That's the whole file to get options back.
FundMainStreet.com is a financing arranger, not a lender or a bank. We connect business owners with third-party funding partners and are compensated by those partners when a transaction closes; we disclose that compensation to you before you sign. Approval, terms, and funding are determined solely by the funding partner. Merchant cash advances are purchases of future receivables, not loans.
